AZ Sourcing has gone to court to get back six network servers seized by the FBI last week.
The Phoenix Business Journal reported that PhoenixMart’s parent company filed an emergency motion to get back the servers one day after FBI agents searched its offices in Scottsdale and Casa Grande.
An FBI spokesman said it is routine procedure for agents to take that type of technology during a search. When servers contain an excess amount of data, it may take agents a few days to image all the necessary items for forensic analysis.
The spokesman added that agents return technology to its owners once all imaging is completed.
The FBI would not comment on why the network servers were seized because the investigation is ongoing.
