In addition to stops in Milwaukee and Chicago, Michael Gibson and George Wozencraft of USAdvisors.org wrapped up the Midwestern leg of their EB5 visa tour by speaking with regional center principals and immigration attorneys in Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio.
Moline, Illinois is home to the operations of two EB5 regional centers known as California Military Bases ? CMB Export and CMB Summit ? and the USAdvisors.org duo spoke to Pat Hogan, Kraig Schwigen, and Chan Freitag in the regional center offices. CMB Export, after all, boasts one of the oldest, most established EB5 visa projects in the country. With sites in San Bernardino and McClellan Park, CMB Export?s projects focus on the conversion of military bases in California for civilian use.
East Lansing Michigan saw Michael and George meeting with attorney Bob Hood of Willingham & Cote and Jim Lynch of the Michigan Regional Center Global Investment Program. Based in Saginaw, the Michigan Regional Center is one of two in the state, and its most recent press release states its mission to use the USCIS EB5 visa program to ?rebuild the [Michigan] economy.? Mr. Lynch, no stranger to new product development, has over two decades of experience in early stage venture capital and brings a lot to the table when it comes to successful investments for prospective EB5 visa holders.
USAdvisors.org also paid a visit to The Cleveland International Fund, which is among those regional centers most recently approved by the USCIS for the EB5 visa program. The Fund is a project of The Cleveland Group, an established Ohio consulting firm with a global reach and presence.
Other Midwestern destinations for Michael and George included the following:
- Chuck and Christopher Randall; Randall Residence (Lawton, MI)
- Scott Zimmer and David Simmet; Air Advantage (Frankenmuth, MI)
- Clara Dematteis Mager, Marie Alsace Galindo, Michele Polito, Du Zhiguo, and Amy Orlowski of Butzel Long (Detroit, MI)
- Svetlana Schreiber, Tom Gilbert, and Michele Norton; Svetlana Schreiber & Associates (Cleveland, OH)
More information regarding stops along the EB5 visa road trip will continue coming in as Michael and George visit regional centers, service providers, and attorneys along the East Coast. Additional news about their meetings with The New York City Regional Center, not to mention other stops in the Empire State, is soon to come. Today, USAdvisors.org is in Washington D.C., where the itinerary calls for meetings with EB5 visa service provider Angel Brunner and Mike Wallach of the Anacostia Regional Center.
